Awareness of Women about Medicinal Plants Used in Digestive Problems in Punjab

The present research was undertaken to study the awareness of women about medicinal plants used in digestive problems in Punjab. It was conducted in three socio-cultural regions i.e. Majha, Malwa, and Doaba of Punjab state. The data were collected from 240 women respondents using personal interview technique. The data were analyzed with the help of frequency distribution, percentages, mean scores and coefficient of correlation. Results of the study revealed that majority of the respondents had medium level of awareness of medicinal plants used for digestive problems in Punjab.
