Abstract

Agriculture is the prime source of livelihood of sub-marginal women. In this context, the present study was taken up in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar with an objective to examine the impact of farm interventions on empowerment of sub-marginal women. The result revealed that the interventions play a significant role in empowerment of beneficiaries but it requires more pace and need to create more social realization towards women's potential in the society. For this purpose, more technological backstopping and infrastructural assistance along with capacity building programmes are required for their self realization and enhancing decision making abilities among the women.
