Madhya Pradesh is the largest producer of pulses in India. To sustain the yield, Front Line Demonstration on Chickpea was conducted in 24 KVKs under RVSKVV, Gwalior. Malwa and Gird Agro-climatic zones were selected purposively as 16 KVKs are situated these Agro-climatic zones. Results indicated that there were many factors due to which the recommended pulse production technologies could not be adopted on the farms as expressed by the beneficiaries’ farmers. Regarding constraints reported, market related constraints (Mean value 2.40) ranked first, followed by production (Mean value 2.26), social and psychological (Mean value 2.23) and storage (Mean value 2.22) were ranked II, III and IV respectively.
