Usefulness of ICT Tools Perceived by the Teachers of Selected Agriculture Universities in Rajasthan

Abstract

The present study was conducted in three purposively selected agricultural universities in Rajasthan. For this purpose from the selected constituent colleges separate lists of all the teachers was prepared and out of these 60 per cent of teachers were selected from every college by using simple random sampling technique and conclude that majority of teachers of SKRAU, Bikaner (78.57 per cent), 65.47 per cent teachers of MPUAT, Udaipur and 64.62 percent teachers of SKNAU, Jobner perceived ICT tools highly useful. The internet (MPS 96.46) was having highest extent of usefulness followed by e-mail (MPS 94.86). The extent of usefulness of ICT tools perceived by the teachers was highest extent for the internet in all the universities i.e. SKRAU, Bikaner (MPS 100.00), SKNAU, Jobner (MPS 96.92) and in MPUAT, Udaipur (MPS 92.46).
