Abstract

The present study was undertaken to analyze the benefits of e-learning as perceived by rural youth while accessing online classes and courses. The study was conducted in randomly selected seven Senior Secondary Schools of panchayat samiti Badgaon of the Udaipur district of Rajasthan. A sample of 140 rural youth comprising of seventy male and seventy female respondents were selected for the study. To elicit required information questionnaire was employed. Frequency, percentage, and mean per cent scores were used for the analysis of the data. Major benefits as mentioned by the respondents were that e-learning improves performance in examinations, provides the answer to each and every query, improves studying habits, helps in preparing notes, learning concepts, provides current affairs, and increases general awareness with MPS ranging between 68.57 and 75.48.
