Abstract

An On-farm trial was carried out to study the effect of foliar application of micronutrients on growth and development of Plum fruits at farmer’s field in district Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. The foliar application of micronutrients significantly influenced the physical parameters of plum fruits. The best treatment was the combination of Zinc (ZnSO4) + Iron (FeSO4) + Boron (H3BO3) @ 1% which resulted in polar diameter of 5.81 cm, radial diameter of 5.74 cm, 419 fruits per tree with average weight of 84.56 g per fruit. Therefore, the yield per tree obtained was 35.45 kg with average yield of 72.32 quintals per hectare.
