Knowledge management is concerned with organizing knowledge stores for easy retrieval and exchange of information stored therein. Recognizing the need for information on sugarcane growers throughout the cultivation cycle, this paper explains the knowledge management strategy. Through information and communication technology, sugarcane farmers can easily adopt improved farming practices. This paper discusses the knowledge management tools developed using ICT. The usefulness of intercropping in farmer income generation has also been discussed in this paper and the dividend data of groundnut crop along with spring planted sugarcane is shown.
