Abstract

Chilli is one of the most important cash crops of Khargone district after cotton due to the maximum area and production of chilli in this district of Madhya Pradesh. the objective of this research is to study the level of adoption of beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries of NHM programme: this study revealed that in study area, most of the beneficiaries were found to high adoption level of various components of improved chilli production practices in NHM programme followed by medium and low adoption of various components of improved chilli production practices in NHM programme.it also revealed that about most of the non-beneficiaries were found to low adoption level of various components of improved chilli production practices in NHM programme followed by medium and high adoption level of various components of improved chilli production practices in NHM programme.
