The problems of agriculture affect mostly the smallholder farmers who have small fields in different places. Group-farming cooperatives serves as good alternative to boost food production as well as lifting smallholder farmers out of poverty. The study examined the economic, social, technological and participatory impacts of group farming on its participants. The study conducted survey in western zone of Maharashtra. Correlation coefficient was employed to examine the relationship between the independent variables with the impact and multiple regression analysis was used to analyse the extent of impact of group farming on economic, social, technological and participatory features. The results of the study found that, group-farming had positive and statistically significant effect on economic, social, technological and participatory features at 5% level of significance.
