The advent of the COVID-19 Pandemic shook the globe in a very devastating manner thereby it brought all the human activities to a halt. The severity of the impact of the pandemic on education was mitigated owing to increased adoption of the online methods of delivery of education. So, the study was undertaken to bring to light the various facts regarding the utilisation of the internet and online platforms by the students of the agricultural domain. The study revealed a higher usage of the internet among the students. Internet was used majorly to acquire the latest news and gain academic knowledge. The online plateforms which were used majorly by the students were Google, WhatsApp and YouTube. Despite higher usage of the internet, the usage of online learning platforms was comparatively low. This suggests that there is a huge potential to improve the effectiveness of an online platform-based educational delivery system through appropriate training for the learners as well as the teachers.
