The article highlights the efficiency of life skill based enrichment programme on metacognitive skills among undergraduate students. A one group quasi experimental research design was used on sample of purposively selected sixty students. Life Skills Assessment Scale by Nair et al. (2010) and Metacognitive Skills Scale by Gupta and Suman (2017) was used in the study. Dimension-wise analysis indicated significant improvement in each dimensions of metacognition after attending life skills based programme, with non- significant gender differences in most of the dimensions at pre- and post-assessment. Exposure of such kind of programme at graduation level have potential to bring improvement in levels of metacognitive skills of students which itself could lead to higher motivation and control over learning to achieve personal goals.
