Pulses are an essential component of sustainable agriculture and play an important role in nutritional security and soil amelioration. From 2021 to 2022, the study looked at farmer awareness and adoption of pulse production technology in Vidarbha and Marathawada regions of Maharashtra. In chickpea, the majority of respondents (86.88%) were aware of pre-sowing irrigation (86.88%), method of sowing (82.50%), time of sowing (81.88%), and least aware of biofertilizers (17.50%). While in pigeonpea, the majority of the respondents (82.50%) were aware of time of sowing, method of sowing (76.25%), and least aware of biofertilizers (11.25%). Majority respondents were found in low (49.38 %) followed by medium (34.37 %) level of adoption in pigeonpea production technology. The logistic regression results revealed that mass media exposure was found highly significant at the 1% level to the adoption of pulse production technology, whereas innovativeness was significant at the 5% level.
