Abstract

The present investigation entitled, “Effect of Organic and Inorganic Fertilizer on Flowering, Spike and Bulb Yield Parameter of Lilium (Lilium Longiflorum) cv. Pavia Under Shade Net Condition” was under taken in the Department of Horticulture, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj, (Allahabad) during winter season of 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and Pooled. The experiment was layout in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 13 treatments and each treatment replicated thrice. The treatments consist of different combinations of inorganic fertilizers (N, P and K) and organic fertilizers (FYM, Vermicompost and Poultry Manure) and control (No fertilizers and manures). The treatment T5 50% RDF + FYM 14 t ha-1 was found the statistically significant compared to other treatment combination, which recorded minimum Days to first bud initiation (42.06 days, 46.26 days and 44.16 days), Days to first floral bud emergence (77.36 days, 77.20 days and 77.28 days), Days to first flower opening (77.93 days, 78.20 days and 78.06 days), Number of bud per plant (6.46, 6.43 and 6.45), Number of spike per plant (1.12, 1.13 and 1.12), Number of spike per ha. (277591.80, 281591.80 and 279591.80 Lakh.), weight of single bulb (59.23 g, 59.53 g and 59.38 g), diameter of single bulb (32.18 mm, 34.40 mm and 33.29 mm), number of bulb per plants (1.21, 1.22 and 1.22), Bulb yield per hectare (282525.20, 282876.10 and 282700.60 Lakh), followed by T9 25% RDF + Vermicompost 6.9 t ha-1 and lowest yield was obtained from T0 (control).
