Knowledge of banana growers about recommended package of practices of banana production technology in Vaishali district of Bihar

This study aims to ascertain Knowledge level of Banana Growers about Recommended Package of Practices of Banana Production Technology in Vaishali District of Bihar for studying the relationship between knowledge level of Banana Growers with the profile of the respondents. A total number of 135 respondents were selected purposively from seven villages in 2 blocks of the district. The study revealed that majority of the respondents (66%) had medium level of knowledge and understanding about banana production technology. The result of correlation analysis showed that a number of independent variables, including education, family type, area under banana cultivation, annual income of banana, banana cultivation experience, risk orientation, extension contact, source of information had positive and significant relationship with knowledge level.
