Adolescence is usually referred as a chaotic period. To study the gender and locale differences in comorbid mental health problems among adolescents, a sample of 240 adolescents (i.e. 120 males and females) in the age range of 18-20 years were selected from urban as well as rural areas of Ludhiana district. Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) by Lovibond and Lovibond (1995) was used to assess comorbid mental health problems among adolescents. Results revealed significant gender and locale differences. Females were more depressed, anxious and stressed than males. Also, rural adolescents had better mental health than urban adolescents.
