The corona virus disease (COVID-19) pandemic resulted in home confinement among majority of population all around the world, including children and adolescents for several months in 2020 and 2021. Negative psychological impact of COVID-19 has been seen among adults including college going students like anxiety, stress and sleep deprivations. However, there is a dearth of researches about the impact of this pandemic on pre-schoolers and school going children. The present investigation aimed to document some of the ways children have been living during lockdown and how this pandemic has impacted the behavioural aspect of Indian children along with their screen timing and response to online schooling.
