A field experiment was conducted at Agronomy Research Farm of Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumargunj, Faizabad (U.P.) during two consecutive years 2012–13 and 2013–14. The experiment was laid out in RBD having sixteen treatment combinations consisted of four levels of sulphur (0, 20, 40 and 60 kg ha-1) and four levels of boron (0, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 kg ha-1) each treatment was replicated three times. The mustard variety NDR-8501 was taken as test crop. Results indicated that the application of sulphur significantly improved the growth characters, yield attributes and yield of mustard. The maximum number of siliquae plant-1 (311.21 and 297.40), number of seeds siliqua-1 (14.03 and 13.41), test weight (4.73 and 4.91 g), seed yield (18.65 and 17.85 q ha-1) and stover yield (52.82 and 50.48 q ha-1) were recorded with 60 kg S ha-1 which was at par with 40 kg S ha-1. The application of boron also increased the growth characters, yield attributes and yield of mustard. The maximum number of siliquae plant-1 (300.76 and 285.45), test weight (4.55 and 4.58 g), seed yield (18.75 and 17.92 q ha-1) and stover yield (51.05 and 48.88 q ha-1) were recorded with 1.5 kg boron ha-1 which was at par 1.0 kg boron ha-1 during both the years of experimentation
