The present study was undertaken to know the important aspects of the job situation in terms of stress factors that influence job satisfaction. The data was collected by administering questionnaires and the information was extracted from relevant books, journals, and bulletins. The descriptive method was used to analyze the data with aid of frequency and percentage for the research objectives. The five top-ranking stress factors found were lack of diagnostic facilities at the veterinary centers, restraining large animals, shortage of staff, lack of conveyance/transport facility, and unavailability of essential medicines at the hospitals. However, the majority of the veterinarians perceived a medium level of stress.
