The present study entitled “Extent of Problems faced by women involved in agricultural activities” was conducted in two districts Nizamabad and Karimnagar to assess the problems of farm women. Thus selected total 120 respondents and 60 respondents were selected from each district through purposive random sampling method. Exploratory research design was adopted to conduct the study. The study was conducted by using a structured interview schedule. Problems perceived by majority of respondents were high cost for seeds & fertilizers (MPS 96.67) followed by high cost for inputs (MPS 94.17), excessive labor cost (MPS 93.75), back pain (MPS 93.75), physical stress (MPS 92.97), physical injuries (MPS 87.50), less wages for women (MPS 86.25), dual role at farm and home (MPS 80.00), knee pains (MPS 72.80) and leg pains (MPS 70.00). While lack of job opportunities during off season (MPS 7.97), lack of knowledge about credit facilities (MPS 7.08), family norms/conservative family (MPS 4.17), lack of marketing channels for selling the farm produce (MPS 1.25) and lack of internet (MPS 0.42) were faced to be lesser extent indicated by the respondents.
