The present study with the objective of constraints faced and suggestions given by the Agricultural Extension Functionaries (AEFs) in transfer of technology among the farmers was carried out in three purposively selected Sub-Divisional Agricultural Offices namely Baramulla, Sopore and Rohama in district Baramulla of Jammu & Kashmir. Among the Sub-Divisional Extension functionaries, all Subject Matter Specialists (SMS’s), Agricultural Extension Officers (AEO’s), Agricultural Assistants Inputs (AAI’s), Junior Agricultural Extension Officers (JAEO’s) and Agricultural Extension Assistants (AEA’s) were taken for collecting primary data with the help of a well-structured interview schedule. The study reveals that under administrative/ managerial constraints, majority (59.71%) of the AEFs indicated “No provision of reward for good work”; under infrastructural constraints, majority (71.22%) of the AEFs indicated “Non-availability of electronic gadgets”; under technological constraints, majority (55.40%) of the AEFs indicated “Improper assessment of requirement report based on needs of farmers”; under communication constraints, majority (92.09%) of the AEFs indicated “Inadequate internet facility” and under constraints related to extension activity, majority (48.92%) of the AEFs indicated “Less interest to radio talk or T.V. talks (related to farmers programmes)”.
