Rural farm women play diverse roles within their families and communities. They are often involved in agricultural activities such as crop cultivation, animal husbandry, and farm management, in addition to performing traditional household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and childcare. Despite their crucial contributions to agriculture and rural economies, rural farm women face various challenges that can affect their family environments. Understanding the family environment among rural farm women is essential for addressing their needs and promoting their overall health and well-being. The present study is an attempt to assess the family environment among farm women and to analyze the relationship between profile characteristics of farm women with their family environment. Ex post facto research design was adopted to study the family environment among farm women residing in Nalgonda district of Telangana state. The results of the study reported that majority of respondents belonged to middle age group living in nuclear type of families with the family size of 4-6 members and having the low mass media exposure. Further, the correlation analysis showed a negative and significant relationship between family type, family size and family environment at 0.01 level of significance while mass media exposure was positively significant at 0.01 level of significance.
