In five carefully selected sub-divisions of the Baramulla district that had the rice crops Seed Village Programme, information from the current rice grower report’s seed village programme was used. To collect the information, the researcher followed a well-structured interview schedule. The majority of the rice growers from all the five sub-divisions had a medium level of information storage and medium level of information storage of the rice growers was found in sub-division Tangmarg (83.33%), followed by Baramulla (75.36%), Pattan and Rohamma (70.00%) and sub-division Sopore (68.16%). However, the overall information storage of the rice growers from all the five sub-divisions (70.97%) had a medium level of information storage.
