The farm magazines are an important source of Agricultural information for many farmers. The present study which related to Kisan Bharati is published by Pantnagar University. Very less study has ever been attempted to understand how the readers feel about this magazine, what are their needs, expectations, social background, media participation etc. It is popular opinion that content presentation and various parts of format including layout, design, color combinations etc. are the matter of personal like and dislike of the readers. Hence, there is need for studying various aspects of farm magazine. Data was collected through 120 readers. The results revealed that readers were middle age group, intermediate, farming occupation, medium annual income group, having 5–10 acre land holding, medium Information seeking behavior, medium level of mass media exposure, regularly in getting magazine, attractive coverage of Kisan Bharati, Satisfied quality of illustration and picture published in KB, medium adequacy of illustration, Appropriate size of letter used, easy to understand language, topical material published in KB, Read the article of their interest, Preserve the magazine.
