The study was conducted in 2022–23, and the data was collected from 240 cooperative and private agri-input dealers from the Jaipur and Tonk districts of Rajasthan. It was revealed from the data that the majority of cooperative agri input dealers (44.16%) had medium knowledge, whereas 31.67 and 24.17 per cent of dealers had low and high knowledge levels regarding improved Bajra production technology, while in the case of private agri input dealer’s majority (45.83%) had medium knowledge, whereas 41.67 per cent and 12.50 per cent of private agri input dealers had high and low knowledge levels regarding improved Bajra production technology, respectively. The comparative data related to the level of knowledge of both cooperative and private agri input dealers show a significant difference in all packages of practices of improved Bajra production technology except “improved varieties,” “time of sowing,” and “seed rate and recommendation spacing”. The private agri-input dealers had more knowledge regarding improved Bajra production technology than the cooperative agri-input dealers.
