Abstract

This research investigates the impact of Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) programs on the knowledge and participation levels of farmers in India. The study evaluates the beneficiaries’ understanding of project schemes, training, demonstrations, visits, and other activities. Results indicate a predominant partial knowledge among beneficiaries, particularly in project schemes, training, and demonstration activities. However, significant improvements were observed post-implementation in all categories, emphasizing the positive impact of ATMA programs. And the overall level of participation high in medium class of farmers. Furthermore, the study classifies farmers into small, medium, and large categories, analyzing the variation in knowledge levels before and after ATMA implementation. The findings demonstrate a substantial increase in overall knowledge across all medium farmer categories, and the study also find that level of participation were high of medium category farmers.
