The present study was conducted in 5 old KVKs, namely Kanker, Narayanpur, Dantewada, Bijapur & Jagdalpur of Bastar zone of Chhattisgarh. From the selected 5 old KVKs, 5 villages were selected each KVK purposively for the study. It’s come in total tribal area and a 150 WhatsApp users (farmers) selected by the random sampling technique. An interview schedule was prepared for collection relating to Knowledge up-gradation of farmers by WhatsApp Massages disseminated by KVK Experts. Knowledge up gradation from WhatsApp messages in agriculture development 10 components of technological information were considered under study for which the farmers collected the information discussed as below in two different conditions before use of message and after use of messages. WhatsApp messages is the most accessible technique in the enlightening of agricultural technology, In the message you get the information of advanced agricultural practices, All messages increase your Knowledge, Messages are received according to your requirement, The content you get is also told to other people, Subject matter is according to need, Crop production related messages are useful, Seed and fertilizer related messages are useful, Medicine, pesticides and Weedicide related messages are useful and Harvesting and storage related messages are useful. Majority of components show least knowledge of WhatsApp Massages. It was found that the overall Knowledge up-gradation of farmers before shows low knowledge level and after Knowledge up-gradation of farmers shows medium knowledge level. The WhatsApp user Farmers has not proper technical knowledge and facilities about WhatsApp media. So farmers should provide the proper training programmes be organized to provide practical knowledge and govt. should develop the technical facilities on tribal areas.
