Abstract

The present study was conducted in state Madhya Pradesh in the year 2022–23, in order to identify the curiosity and creativity level of 15 farmer innovators whose innovations were identified and were awarded in respective categories. Case study method was used to know the process of development of innovation, along with the socio-personal and socio-economic profile. Data was collected by personally interviewing the farmers with the help of interview schedule. The results revealed that, majority of the innovators were having medium level of creativity and possessing creative traits along with showing curiosity for knowing something new and it was revealed from the results that farmers are developing innovations that suit their emerging needs and needs of their community in a creative manner. Therefore, concerned organizations should lend their support to farmers which will increase the number of quality innovations as well as farmers will get the desired profit.
