Comparative analysis of independent variables influencing the knowledge level of DAESI and Non-DAESI input dealers in agricultural extension services

Abstract

Agriculture extension services are major counterparts for improving the productivity and sustainability if agricultural sector. In which input dealers they serve as key role in between researchers and farmers by providing advisory services to the farmers. Therefore the following study conducts a comparative analysis of the factors influencing the knowledge levels of DAESI and non-DAESI input dealers. The data was collected from 200 DAESI and Non-DAESI input dealers from Balaghat and Mandla district of M.P. It was revealed from the data that DAESI-trained input dealers are better equipped with the necessary knowledge and skill, likely due to the structured and well framed training and support provided by the program.
