Abstract

Based on information from the National Family Health Survey, the present review compares the nutritional condition of children in different districts of Punjab, India (NFHS). Children’s nutritional health is a crucial sign of their general growth and well-being, reflecting both the socioeconomic environment and the efficacy of public health initiatives. The collected data gives an overview of the prevalence rates of underweight, wasting and stunting in Punjab’s several districts using the most recent NFHS data available. Comparative analysis of these indicators sheds light on regional differences, patterns and possible causes of childhood malnutrition. The results highlight the significance of focused interventions and policies meant to enhance children’s nutritional outcomes throughout Punjab.
