The present study aimed to assess the information-seeking behavior of 150 extension scientists in Punjab and Odisha. Respondents were selected following probability proportionate to the number of extension scientists in each university, resulting in 73 from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) and 77 from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). Most of the respondents referred e-sources, kisan melas, and digital apps to seek information. Significant differences between both the universities were observed in terms of reference sources, including manuals, KVK scientists, university research scientists, subject matter extension specialists etc. Overall, Majority of respondents had medium level of information-seeking behavior. SAUs should schedule biannual events for extension scientists to attend seminars, symposiums, and conferences and refer to reports and e-modules for updates.
