Time is an intangible force that influences people’s interaction patterns, and it is the only resource that is evenly distributed to all. According to estimates, women spend three times as much time as men do performing unpaid tasks like housework and child care. Women’s workforce participation rates have increased dramatically in recent years, this is especially true among married women. Lack of access to time-saving technologies as well as insufficient physical infrastructure for home energy, water, and sanitization contribute to women’s unpaid workload. This scenario prevents or severely restricts many women’s opportunities to engage in revenue activities. In recent decades, a number of contemporary household appliances have been released and extensively embraced, along with improvements to previously produced technologies. The present study was, therefore, undertaken to study the difference in the attitude of working and non-working women towards time saving devices. The study was conducted in Ludhiana city of Punjab state with 80 working and 80 non-working women selected randomly from four zones of Ludhiana. The results revealed that more working women found time saving devices favorable as compared to non-working women.
