Organic vegetable cultivation and perceptions of farmers of Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India

The study was undertaken to determine the attitude of farmers towards organic vegetable cultivation in Hoshiarpur district located in Punjab state and explore the relationships between their selected characteristics with their attitude. Data were collected through personal interview using pre-tested structured questionnaire from a sample of 50 randomly selected vegetable farmers. Majority of the growers had positive attitude towards organic vegetable cultivation.
