Kisan Gosthi + Video show + Radio talk + Incentive to contact farmers and 3. Result demonstration+ Radio talk+ Incentive to contact farmers + Farmers competition, were designed to test their effectiveness by interviewing 100 farmers. Incentive to contact farmers, farmers tour, farmers meeting, film show and radio were the effective extension methods as perceived by the livestock owners in terms of understanding, attractiveness, usefulness, extent of information, preferences and level of satisfaction. Incorporating these extension methods in extension programme in locale of study can increase the knowledge and skills of livestock owners and the productivity of buffalo. The findings of this research are very useful and important for development and extension agencies for transfer of buffalo production technologies through suggested extension modules.
