Attitude of the pineapple growing farmers towards improved package of practices with respect to pineapple cultivation was studied and factors influencing their attitude were also analysed critically. Based on Ex-Post Facto research design, a survey was conducted in three villages of Medziphema Rural Development Block with a sample of 100 pineapple growing farmers. Findings revealed that majority of the farmers had favourable degree of attitude towards adoption of improved practices of pineapple cultivation. The variables age, farm experience, farm size, sources of information utilized and risk orientation had positive and significant association with the attitude of farmers towards improved practices of pineapple cultivation. The variables – farm experience, sources of information utilized and risk orientation were significant and important in explaining the attitude of the pineapple growing farmers.
