Modus operandi of Scientific Community in Dissemination of Research-Findings

The modus operandi vis-à-vis communication of the ‘results of the researches being conducted’ to/for the benefit of outside world happens to be an area of prime concern among the scientific community, since, scientists do not want to disclose their research-results through non-credible sources of communication. Generally, journals, books and magazines, are preferred by the scientists for publishing their research-results; albeit, for the simple objective of dissemination of their research-findings, they also utilize the opportunities provided in the form of seminars, symposia, conferences, workshops, etc. This study focuses on this very aspect of the communication behaviour of the scientists/researchers.
