The study examines factors affecting farmers’ participation in agricultural projects in Bandipora District of Jammu and Kashmir. A simple random sampling technique was used in selecting 150 farmers from the selected villages. Data was gathered through the use of structured questionnaire and analyzed using frequency counts, percentages and multiple regression analysis. The findings showed 58.7 per cent farmers were willing to participate in agricultural projects. Significant determinants of farmers’ participation in agricultural programmes were effectiveness of RKVY (t=3.34), effectiveness of ATMA (t=1.81), attitude (t=2.60), household headship (t=-1.96), livestock enterprise (t=2.39), and income (t=2.10).
