The study focused on farmers’ perception on prospects of Direct Seeded Rice Cultivation Technology in Haryana since it being a most feasible and sustainable alternative rice-ecosystem in view of depleting water resources, reduced labour use and climate risks are major concerns in conventional method of cultivation. Majority of respondent farmers agreed that DSR technology give better net returns in comparison to transplanting, interm of less water requirement, less labour requirement and best suited to climate change risks.
