Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected the entire world including India. All the sectors have been impacted severely including ‘education’. This study focused on how students belonging to select cities of Maharashtra state continued to learn with the available resources and devices they had. Despite the challenges, learning continued and students have even acquired skills, have spent time with family, learnt to take active part in helping in domestic chores. Students attended webinars, lectures and conversely are now more confident of using technology and web-resources. The study reveals that physical classroom is being missed by the students and that the teachers connect is valued. Similarly, the insights given by students on the e-learning are valuable to all in the academic fraternity; namely teachers, administrators and Universities.
