Abstract

In the present era of globalization when every single organization wants to earn as much market as possible ensuring transparency and accountability (two main principles of Corporate Governance) in their dealing with the outside world and internally also is also equally important because it not only safe the organization from unnecessary scandals but also increase the reputation of the organization in the public. In this context management education in the business schools where the future mangers are trained can play an important role in the emerging economies like India and China. This paper tries to know the status of corporate governance discipline in the business schools and students of the selected business schools of India and China. This research may help the management institutions to rethink and redesign their institutional priorities and courses on corporate governance to fill this gap.
