Dr S V Kadvekar, Professor, the D S Savkar endowed Chair in Commerce, University of Pune, has instituted the Journal of Commerce and Management Thought (J.C.M.T) in January 2010 with an objective to provide a platform to young researchers in Commerce and Management to display their efforts. During the last four years, each issue, four per volume, has been brought out on schedule. Dr Kadvekar deserves to be complimented for his dedication and efforts. The academic community that has supported his efforts all these years should also be congratulated for the trust reposed. The fourth volume published during the year 2013 consists of 70 contributions, and 516 pages. The Association of Business Education and Entrepreneurship Development, (ABEED) has since the year 2012 instituted an Award, to motivate research enthusiasts in the field of Commerce and Management to come out with quality research. An award is given to the author/s of the best article published in JCMT. This year, the task of search for the JCMT's Best Research Paper Award has been entrusted to Dr Vidyadhar Bhate.
