Abstract

Job satisfaction can defined as extent of positive feelings or attitudes that individuals have towards their jobs. When a person says that he has high job satisfaction, it means that he really likes his job, feels good about it and values his job dignity. Job satisfaction is important technique used to motivate the employees to work harder. The present study aimed at studying the perceptions of employees about their job with central cooperative banks of Punjab. The sample includes 100 respondents who have been working with the cooperative banks. The study has been undertaken in the state of Punjab. The findings reveal that employees considered their job stimulating and challenging. The designation and experience of employees does not significantly influence their opinion about their job
