Today's modern society, media, advertising and entertainment industry have strong means which influence consumers to have better perspective for themselves and the world around. With increase in murders, assaults and violence regularly telecasted, and serial killings and mass murdering constantly making headlines. In fact mass media plays important role in the form of cinema for promoting violence in youth. Violence is one of the root causes for the failure of youth. The present study is about how violent movies do contribute to greater violence in society and whether there is a significant difference between demographic variables and the attitude towards violence. Finally to conclude that study of sociological along with delegation of common sense can reduce the violence in any form of media making further negative impact on society.
