Abstract

15 year old, Maulana Azad Minorities Financial Development Corporation (MAMFDC) is a State Channelizing agency of the National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation operating in Maharashtra for the empowerment of poor minorities by providing financial support through various schemes and programs. This paper attempts to evaluate the schemewise performance of MAMFDC in relation to number of beneficiaries and funds disbursed to minorities in selected six districts of Maharashtra from 2004 to 2012. The study is based on secondary data of the Corporation which has been analyzed district wise and scheme wise with the help of table and graphs. The paper is concluded by outlining its findings and observations.
