Abstract

Academics foster Entrepreneurship in two ways. Firstly the academic research can be made commercialized or issue a license and adopt comparative lead in innovative markets. Secondly academics can create an awareness of entrepreneurial opportunities and develop the needed skills amongst the students. The age of university students fail to adopt entrepreneurial skills due to their opportunity cost or disintegrated knowledge. Entrepreneurship course in higher education is not only a basic condition but it is necessary to create environment and culture of entrepreneurship in the society. Academic system has to concentrate on the point, where entrepreneurship education will be most beneficial and can create appropriate values in the society. It should be more than simply creating awareness. This paper is about fostering entrepreneurship though education system in Indian context.
