Industry-Academia tie-ups are increasingly becoming important as organizations are realizing that they need to take care of the training needs of their human capital. Corporate training programs which are being offered as a part of this kind of hand-holding are able to help organizations to build, accumulate and even consolidate the knowledge gained by their human capital.
Corporate training programs are those training programs designed by the organizations to impart the requisite skills and competencies required to do the job. Some organizations have their own training departments who do the job of training the employees for their job and some organizations outsource other training agencies to do the job. There are some organizations that do some part of the training and for other technical training they hire experts to train their employees. In this research, the researcher is trying to analyse the impact and effectiveness of one such corporate management training program which was specifically designed to impart management education to the trainees through this kind of industry-academia tie-ups. In this research the researcher has tried to analyse the impact of training given to 114 employees from four different Industry-Academia tie-ups. The training program was specially designed to impart management education to the employees across different designations. The study also throws light on the satisfaction of the trainees regarding the training methodology used and an overall evaluation about the corporate education program.
