Agriculture in the country has entered a new phase-increase in productivity is sought to be achieved in ways that are sustainable and that do not impact the environment adversely. Simultaneously, the villages too are being transformed with new businesses. Greater use of information and communication technology (mobile phones, internet, and satellite maps of natural resources) is a growing part of this change. This research paper deals with concept of ICT and its application in agriculture and rural development.
