Training is an important input in our development programmes. The study was conducted in selected KVKs from various organisations in Haryana state. The response were taken on eight dimension of role perceived by the all trainers working in the KVKs. They were mainly; Planning. Organising of training programme, Motivation, Preparation of training material. Training, Reporting. Evaluation and Supporting activities. The observation made in this study Shows that trainers perceived medium to high in all dimensions of training programmes organised by the KVKs. However planning, motivation, training and supporting activities fell low categories in all the KVKs. The trainers cxpressed fairly in all dimensions of role perception due to clarity of role as speci tied by the ICAR regarding working in the Krishi Vigyan Kendras. The objective and mandate of KVK is clearly defined.
