The present study was undertaken in Parbhani district of Maharashtra State to find out relationship between socio-economic characteristics with television viewing behavior and gain in knowledge. It was found that maximum number of the respondents viewed Home Science programs regularly. It was also observed that age, education, annual income and mass media exposure were significantly correlated with the viewing behavior. It is clear that annual income, age, education and mass media exposure were significantly correlated with gain in knowledge.
