Study was conducted to know the various financial and temporal factors causing stress among working and non working-women. The total sample comprised of 150 respondents and was divided into two categories namely working and non working homemakers having 75 respondents in each category. Results indicated that expenses on sudden emergencies, more work and less time to do them were considered to be the stressors by both the categories. Working-women were stressed due to shortage of time for doing work (mean score 1.24), Planning (mean score 1.09), sharing with family (O.93), leisure or social activities (0.80) and personal health care (0.96). Non working women were stressed due to unavoidable expenses (LOS) and irregular income (0.50). On an average, non working women were stresses due to financial factors and working women due to temporal factors.
