The present study was conducted in Panchrukhi block of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. A total of 100 (50 males and 50 females) children in the age group of 6–18 years were randomly selected for the study. The findings indicate that more males as compared to females spend 1–2 hours in watching television, decided by them. Maximum number of respondents imitate the life style of hero/heroines. The findings further revealed that children watch television for entertainment! time pass/games. The television/computer also leads to unsocial and anti social behaviour among children.
